The Brüning Group’s first International Day took place at the beginning of June, an event initiated and organised by Lukas Klapp, Unit Lead Recycling & Waste International, and Svenja Bätz, Director International Business Development. The day was a complete success and brought together almost all international representatives from the various locations at the headquarters in Bremen, including Sweden, Denmark, France, Italy, Poland, the UK and Germany. All divisions and units of the Brüning Group were represented, from wood products to Recycling & Waste.
The main objective of the International Day was to further strengthen and expand cooperation between the countries and units. This is in line with the Brüning Group’s ongoing efforts to drive forward its internationalisation. The day’s topics focussed on making better use of synergies, improving cooperation and communication, and networking.
The atmosphere during the event was characterised by enthusiasm. The participants showed great commitment and enjoyed the exchange with their international colleagues. It was clear to see that everyone involved enjoyed working together and is motivated to further advance the common goals.
While the International Day primarily promoted internal dialogue, important progress has also been made at international level. The final talks for the 2024/2025 heating period are in full swing to ensure optimal preparation and supply. Notifications are in progress to ensure supply capability for the coming months. In addition, innovative logistics solutions are more required than ever and we are focusing on new and creative approaches to meet these challenges.
The event shows that the Brüning Group has a strong presence not only nationally but also internationally and that we are continuously working to improve our processes and cooperation. The first International Day was an important step towards even closer and more effective international cooperation. In the future, such meetings will take place regularly in order to further improve and intensify cooperation.
