What is happening when colleagues from ten countries come together in one place? It’s Internationals Day at the Brüning Group! For the third time, our teams from all over Europe gathered at our headquarters in Bremen to celebrate what sets us apart: our diversity and our international strength.
TOGETHER BEYOND BORDERS
In addition to the Group’s strategic direction, the event focused in particular on personal exchange. And this year’s event was especially enriching, not least thanks to the many new faces who attended for the first time, continuing to grow our network and bringing fresh impetus to the dialogue. The aim was to learn together and actively promote international cooperation. The programme, organised by Svenja Bätz, Director of International Business Development, was correspondingly varied. Svenja opened the day with an outlook on our goals and then provided insights into current material flows as well as ongoing and future successes. One of these being the defossilisation of energy-intensive production industries. Marc Gaber, International Business Development Manager, picked up on this focus and highlighted the challenges as well as opportunities associated with this transformation. His presentation clearly showed that defossilisation is a global issue that affects every country in which we operate internationally.
Another contribution came from the marketing unit: Szymon Stefanowicz, Head of Marketing, presented how our international teams are optimally supported by tailor-made tools and digital communication media. From product brochures and digital business cards to a professional LinkedIn presence, we are creating a strong presence that showcases our expertise and innovative strength worldwide.
As always, there was also room for team building alongside the professional input: the Brüning quiz was not only a battle over who knew most about bulk densities or transport routes, but also a great deal of fun.
FUTURE CONNECTS
Insights into our international supply chains and the planning of forward-looking projects provided the content framework, but the event was primarily driven by genuine encounters and a palpable team spirit that transcended national borders. What remains is a sense of unity and the certainty that internationalisation has long been part of our everyday life. The third Internationals Day showed how much energy there is in personal exchange and what power is generated when we work together for a greener future.
