A special event for suppliers from the unit ‘Recycling Waste‘ took place at the Brüning Group’s headquarters in Bremen at the beginning of August. Organised by Ute Witgen, together with Philip Behrens and Matthias Warnke, the closest suppliers were invited to spend a whole day with us.
The day began in the late morning with a warm welcome, where the guests were greeted with a small snack from Brünings Scheune in a relaxed atmosphere. Jan Wünderlich then gave the group a tour of our office building. He provided interesting insights into Bremen’s Überseestadt district and talked about the construction and architectural style of the new, modern office complex. During the tour of the various floors, the visitors were able to experience first-hand where and how we work.
Matthias Warnke then gave an informative presentation about the Brüning Group. He presented the various units of our company and explained, for example, how we operate both nationally and internationally. Our guests were given a comprehensive overview of what characterises us as a company and what goals we pursue.
After the presentation, the sporting programme continued: the participants cycled together along the banks of the Weser to the Weserstadion. There, the group had the opportunity to take part in an exclusive guided tour, during which they travelled through the players‘ tunnel, visited the changing rooms and even sat on the coaches’ bench – a real highlight!
Back at the office, the group enjoyed a pleasant evening of small talk and dinner together. Some of the guests took the opportunity to spend the night in the brand new Hotel John Will, which is located right next to our office building. Particularly impressive: the hotel is located in former grain silos that have been converted into modern and stylish rooms.
Our conclusion: The event was a complete success. The atmosphere was completely cordial and there was a lively exchange between our suppliers. Everyone had a lot of fun and we were able to further strengthen our partnerships. A successful day that will certainly be remembered for a long time to come. We are already looking forward to the next joint event!
